Family Shepherd’s Pie

A hearty combination of succulent lamb & tender British beef, slow cooked in a rich red wine gravy tucked under a crushed potato top, served in a ceramic pie dish.


Preparation time: 40-45 minutes
Cuisine Type: Family Pies


Cooking instructions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C/Gas mark 5/355°F.
2. Remove all packaging, leaving the pie in the ceramic dish only.
3. Place the pie on a tray in the centre of the oven & bake for 40-45 mins, until potato topping turns golden brown. 4. Leave to stand for 4 mins before serving, taking care of hot surfaces.

Check food is piping hot throughout. These instructions are a guide: all appliances vary. Please don’t reheat once cooked! Please re-use the serving dish.

Skin-on potatoes (30%)
Fresh white onion (13%)
Lamb (12%)
Beef (12%)
Water
Fresh carrot
Red wine (3%)
Tomato purée
Worcester sauce
Butter
Beef stock
Arrowroot
Wheat flour
Fresh parsley
Salt
Garlic purée
Sunflower oil
Fresh rosemary
Black pepper

Worcester Sauce contains: malt vinegar (from barley), spirit vinegar, molasses, sugar, salt, anchovies, tamarind extract, onions, garlic, spices, flavouring.

Beef stock contains: beef bones & meat, water, salt.
